About the advantages of a wooden house and the special living environment, there are countless books. It was important to use the special features of timber and this creates a more powerful light, comfortable and stylish living experience.
Snowshoeing, guided hikes with a statement such as herbs, bats, eagles and beavers, meditation, different programs, singing bowl therapy, yoga, fasting, massage, ayurveda to name just a few.
Aside from our picture-perfect scenery with an incredible variety of flora and fauna, there is quite a number of world-renowned sights nearby: Linderhof and Neuschwanstein castles, Hohenschwangau Castle, where King Ludwig II grew up, Wieskirche Church, which is part of the World Cultural Heritage, monasteries like Ettal, Rottenbuch or Steingaden, and Germany’s highest mountain, Zugspitze, to name but a few. Sports and recreational opportunities abound. Those with an interest in culture can also choose from a wide range of offers to their heart’s content. Garmisch-Partenkirchen is 25 minutes by car, Munich, the capital of Bavaria, a little over an hour. We will be pleased to assist you in planning your outings.
How to find us: coming from Ettal, use the first opportunity to leave the bypass (federal highway) and turn right to Oberammergau. Follow the priority road (Ettaler Straße) for a while until it makes a 90 degree bend to the left. Before the bend, you go straight on along Tirolergasse. Shortly after passing the Catholic church, you follow the priority road in a 90 degree bend to the right. The street changes its name to Daisenbergerstraße. Follow Daisenbergerstraße for about 120 meters (attention: zebra crossing - watch out for kids on their way to school!) and before a bend to the left, go straight on into a one-lane dead-end sand road. Follow it to the end. Our holiday home ‘Tiziana’ is the last house on the right.
