The global corona pandemic affects our everyday life and confronts us with many new challenges. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared a health crisis of international concern and therefore, the opportunity to travel is limited. It is important to always be informed about the current situation. We follow the announcements of international and national governments and health authorities. Please also inform yourself. Before you book your holiday or start your journey you should check official sources for possible travel restrictions.

Here are some tips for the travel planning:

1. Please note that Traum-Ferienwohnungen is a mediation platform to connect hosts and vacationers. Bookings are done directly with the hosts. The hosts are the contracting party of the booking.

2. If you have any questions regarding a booking or inquiry, please contact the host directly. You can find the contact details in the exposé.

3. If you would like to change your booking because you are not able to travel now, please contact your host directly as well. You both can clarify how to deal with this special situation.

4. We have collected the most important sources of the Corona virus and possible travel restrictions. The information (in German) is constantly updated by the competent authorities.

Description

Le Jas du Boeuf offers luxurious accommodation in a magical location surrounded by acres of forests and fields scented with lavender and wild herbs. There are no neighbours or roads nearby so you mostly just hear birds.

All four rooms have their own private entrances directly from the large gardens. You can choose between old stone walls in the beautifully restored 18th century sheep barn or modern poolside bungalows that pull the outside in.

Borrow a book from the library and read in one of the many shady corners of the gardens or hike up the mountain and enjoy the views of the Alps and the Luberon before taking a dip in the infinity pool.

Special features

The Jas has a chemical and salt free, heated pool with wonderful water to swim in and there is a summer kitchen where you can prepare light meals. Please note that we do not rent out the entire house but can accommodate up to 10 people in four rooms.

Holiday destination

Only 30 minutes from Forcalquier, Sisteron or Banon, the Jas is also within walking distance from the village bistro and just 3 kms from a gourmet restaurant in Cruis. Lavender fields are just down the road and the Lure Mountain is omnipresent.

Getting there

Easily reached from the A51 coming south from Grenoble or north from Marseille. The Napoleon Route from Nice is spectacular but takes a bit longer, especially in the summer.

Also a wonderful drive south from Lyon exiting at Carpentras and then to Banon and Cruis or exiting at Avignon and taking the Luberon valley through Apt and then Forcalquier.
