Pianello del Lario is approx. 10 km west of Menaggio and is well known for its watersports facilities, marina, surfing ,kite-surfing. Gravedona, Dongo, Cremia, Rezzonico have now a very nice lake side footpath connecting these villages.
Enough to do for youngsters day and night! For those who like hiking or mountainbiking, the easy going up slopes take you to meadows, woods, passing waterfalls, forgotten hamlets and here and there a church.
