Some other possibilities are wonderful walks around the old town and the water trapped by the historic district programs, canoe trips and boat trips to Travemünde, a visit to the old "Behnhouse", the "Holstentor", theaters, museums and galleries.
In this area are most of the historical houses of Lübeck with different architectural periods.
In the near of the "Engelsgrube" is the "Koberg" with Jakobi Church, the skipper company with excellent cuisine and the famous Holy Spirit Hospital, in the Christmas season selected artisans there offer their objects.
The market hall is a few minutes walk, to the train station you have to walk 15 minutes. A stroll through Old Town, theaters, museums and restaurants are within walking distance.
The pier for harbor cruise or to Travemünde lies on the opposite side of the road of our House.Travemünde, Timmendorfer beach are quickly accessible by boat, bus, train or car.
Leave the motorway A1 at the exit Lübeck City. At the roundabout at the Lohmühle take the second exit in the peace road, go straight through the Marie bridge over the swing bridge, strait on to the "Engelsgrube".
