Holiday destination Devon
Located in the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that has been practically untouched by time and discovered by very few.
We are surrounded by beautiful views, birds, wild animals and flowers. The Jurassic Coast and many attractions of Devon, Somerset and Dorset are only a short drive away.
Our nearest town is Honiton which is a market town with much history and an interesting mix of shops, cafes and restaurants.
The village of Upottery is a very pleasant walk (about 45 minutes) along quiet lanes, across fields and beside the river, alternatively only about 5 minutes drive by car. The pub serves good food and the local 'Otter' beer; children and dogs are welcome.
When a booking is made detailed directions are sent to you. We greet you personally and show you into the cottage.
My name is Suzanne and I have lived in this beautiful part of the country since 2004. There is so much to see and do and I love sharing it with our visitors. I live on site and am happy to help you have a very special holiday.
Suzanne made us feel very welcome in the cosy Garden Cottage amidst the beautiful country scenery. We also enjoyed hiking in the Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks as well as along the Jurassic Coastline, which can be reached easily with a rental car. The subtropical garden in Abbotsbury as well as other beautiful gardens and Estates are also well worth visiting. We can only recommend you to spend great holidays at Suzanne's Cottages.

Just perfect for a holiday in a quiet place. Beach, castles, gardens and other objects and places of interest are near for day's excursions. And of course the Blackdown Hills for long walks.
