Vodnjan is a town that was founded during the Roman rule and that today has a medieval appearance with many interesting palaces dating way back from the 14th century. The church of st. Blaise holds records in many categories; it’s the main tourist attraction of Vodnjan. Vodnjan is also known for its shepherds’ little stone houses (kažuns) in the surrounding area, where around 3000 of them can be found.
