The apartment is ideal to accomodate groups and families with up to 5 persons.
The house and the apartment represent a modern standard combined with the charm of a historic building.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor, with 80 sqm it offers lots of space.
One sleeping room has a double bed and a single bed, the second sleeping room has 2 separate single beds.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-supply (oven, microwave, cooker, fridge, coffee machine, dishes, dish washer).
The bathroom has a bathtub for bathing and showering and a washing machine.
The living room and kitchen are oriented to the south-west and get lots of daylight.
We provide Cable tv, DVDs and books as well as internet access (wifi) for your entertainment.
Towels and linen (one-time charge of 7,50 € per person) and parking permits (3 € per car and night) can be booked optionally.
We also have 2 attics with 50 sqm for rent. Each attic has space for 4 persons.
We are living in the same house and will try to help you with any question.

Our house is in a calm side street in a neighborhood called "Heidelberg Weststadt". Many houses in the area are art nouveau and art déco style (like our house).
Sights, restaurants, stores and the adjoining woodland can be reached quickly by foot and public transport.
The stop for local trains, trams and busses is close to our location. We are only one stop away from Heidelberg main station and old town.
By car: Parking in the residential area with parking ticket: 3 Euros per night (if desired, please tell us with your booking)
By train: the main station can be directly reached by local trains (just one stop, exit at Heidelberg Weststadt), distance by taxi is approx. 1.5 km

Karlsruhe, Baden Baden (Baden Airpark): 93 km, 1 hour by car
Stuttgart: 127 km, 1.5 hours by car

§ 1 Rental object and keys
(1) The advertiser lets one or several apartment(s) in the following property (rental object) to the tenant:
Steigerweg 6-8, 69115 Heidelberg, Germany
The house rules provided in the property are valid.
The rental property is a non-smoking property.
(2) The rental property is fully equipped and furnished.
(3) The tenant is entitled to use the washing machine (only provided in apartment No. 3 and 5).
(4) The tenant receives one house key and one apartment key for the duration of the rental period.
§ 2 Rental period, Arrival and Departure
(1) The rental property is let to the tenant during the agreed rental period.
(2) The arrival time on the arrival day is not before 3 p.m. (if not agreed differently).
(3) The checkout time on the day of departure is at 11 a.m. (if not agreed differently).
§ 3 Rental price and payment methods
(1) In case of booking through a broker, terms and conditions apply as stated on the website of the broker.
(2) In case of a direct booking with the advertiser, the rental price, the payment terms and the payment method are stated in the invoice.
(3) The time of payment is also stated in the invoice. If the tenant is more than 7 days late in paying, then the advertiser is entitled to terminate the contract immediately and without notice and let the property to someone else.
In case there was an agreement in advance, the rental price can be paid on the day of arrival. If the payment is not done on the arrival day, the advertiser is entitled to terminate the contract immediately and without notice and let the property to someone else.
(4) The advertiser does not charge extra for the final clean-up.
Exceptions can be made, if the tenant does not comply with the house rules for departure. In such a case the extra effort and cost compared to a standard cleaning will be passed to the tenant.
§ 4 Cancellation and early termination
(1) In case of booking through a broker, terms and conditions apply as stated on the website of the broker.
(2) In case of a direct booking with the advertiser, the following terms and conditions apply:
If the tenant terminates the contract before the rental period starts, then they are responsible for paying the following percentages of the rental price to cover costs (excl. the price for bed linen, towels, parking tickets).
Termination
- up to 49 days before rental period: 10 % of rental price
- up to 35 days before rental period: 30 % of rental price
- up to 21 days before rental period: 60 % of rental price
- up to 14 days before rental period: 90 % of rental price
- otherwise (less than 14 days before rental period) 100 % of rental price.
(3) If the tenant terminates their stay early, they are still responsible to pay the full rental price.
(4) Termination is only accepted in writing. The date applicable is the day the document is received by the advertiser.
(5) In case of acts of nature beyond control, changes in law, unforeseeable or unpreventable events that prevent the rental of the apartment, the advertiser reserves the right to cancel the contract. In such an unlikely case, the payments received will be reimbursed, further claims will be excluded.
§ 5 Liability and Responsibilities of the Tenant
(1) The rental property incl. the furniture and the other contents are to be treated with care. The tenant is held responsible for the actions of other people within the house. The tenant is liable for all damaged goods, damage to the property or anything else related to the property, whether caused by
themselves or their accompanying guests.
(2) Faults that are found before or during the rental period are to be reported to the advertiser immediately.
(3) Before departure the tenant is responsible to collect all personal belongings, empty the refrigerator, lock all windows, turn off the heating, put the keys on the kitchen table and leave the apartment clean swept.
(4) Animals are not allowed.
(5) House rules: the tenant agrees to follow the house rules. These are provided in the property
§ 6 Contract wording and clause
(1) Changes and alterations of this contract need to be in writing.
(2) If some of the legal requirements of this contract are inoperative or impractical, or become so after completion of the contract, the effectiveness of this contract will not be affected. At the point of inoperative or impractical legal requirements the individual should reach an agreement that comes as close as possible to the economic goals that the parties of the contract tried to achieve.
(3) This contract relates to the law of Germany.
