We´re neither a holiday complex nor a hotel, only a little private villa off the touristic zone but with a wide view on it. Posh neighborhood with some majestic mansions. Here you´ll find a luxurious and well maintained environment amidst impressive scenery and really heavenly calm. Our two discrete guest-apartments on pool level (with their own entrance from the street) were renovated in 2017/2018. Our "Kingsize-Flat" next door, double the size of this one, can also be booked on this portal. This "Queensize-Flat" is best choice for a single person or for two who "get along well with one another" (see bedsize...) and who get by with a little less luxury and space. Our upper part of the house is located behind so that our guests usually feel like living in their own finca.
Queensize-Flat: ca. 236 sqft/ ca. 22 qm covered with old Carrara-marble, equipped in shades of white and light grey, queensize-bed (140x200cm) with "german" bedding (comforter seperately on bed) and view on pool/ sunrise/ mountains, little countrystyle kitchenette with dinette and everything you need for cooking/eating, bathroom with daylight and big shower cabin (80x120cm), bathrobes, cushions for deckchairs etc.
The flat has remote controled air condition (heating/cooling if necessary at all), a natural stone facade and triple glazing on doors/ windows provide good climatic and acustic insulation anyway, walls have breathable plastering, sat-TV + sat-wlan, tennants also get remote control for pool-cover and for two barriers on the street.
On-site pool (new 2019) measuring 4.5x8.5m (=ca. 410 sqft) with year-round heating and counterstream for sporty longterm-swimmers, available for only our guests and ourselves. Subtropical garden and pool area can´t be overlooked from outside the house. To reach our house you´d follow some twisting roads into the mountains, passing quite a number of impressive sceneries and villas, ending up in a longer private road with cameras, coded barriers and security service.

Within a huge scenery of rugged mountains and view until the Roque Nublo you overlook the southcoast of the island, the dunes and ocean directly from our terrace. We strongly recommend a rented car to really enjoy the island and to reach the next supermarket and the next (excellent) restaurants within ca. 5 minutes. Beaches/ shopping malls/ golf courses (5 different ones) are in sight from here, but ca. 10-20 min away by car. The airport is a ca. 45-min-drive, Las Palmas a ca. 55-min-drive.

My partner and I fell in love with this house here on the island in 2016, finally managed to buy it and then converted and refurnished our new home over the following year. With quite some time, effort and expense. And quite often our scrupulous German quality standards clashed with kind of a Canarian chaos culture, which we´ve hardly come to terms with. But you just can´t help loving this island and the people here. Meanwhile, we see the humour in better not relying on too many things here - not on maps and timetables, not even on eternally good wheather and least of all on an appointment made for "mañana" hoping it will be tomorrow. Ok, sure you can still rely on a few things. On us as good hosts for example. Ahem, if nothing Canarian comes up ;-)
