Loveston Barn is an old stone farm building that has been sensitively renovated by the architect and artist owners to create a cosy retreat for one or two. It has its own pretty little private garden, a living and dining room with freeview tv, woodburner, central heating throughout and wifi. A small well-equipped kitchen and bedroom (no wardrobe) with en-suite bathroom: bath, shower, wc and basin. There is also an adjoining utility room with washing machine and freezer. We have spent many years restoring Little Loveston to create a unique place that people return to again and again. It is informal, tranquil and we are happy to be of help in whatever way possible so please contact us with any queries.
The immediate surroundings have been designated a Site of Specific Scientific Interest because of its rich and varied plant and wildlife
The cottage is central heated and also has a woodburner. There is great walking and cycling from door. We are on the famous Landsker Line which consists of walks through Pembrokeshire and traditionally divides the North from the South. We are very central, so ideal for exploring all Pembrokeshires coast and countryside, it is a rural area with many pretty country lanes and the beautiful Cleddau Estuary nearby . There is an outdoor swimming pool and sauna nearby and a games room with pool and table tennis.
So much to see and do in our small county. The wonderful coastal path which stretches for 187miles with many beaches and hidden bays, the Preseli hills, woods at Minwear and Canaston and hidden waterways along the Cleddau Estuary. Culturally rich too with many Castles, Gardens and even our Cathedral at St Davids-the smallest city in Britain!
We are on the edge of the National Park in the heart of Pembrokeshire. A great place from which to explore the counties beaches, attractions, waterways and countryside. It is also on the Landsker trail so there is good walking and cycling from the door. and we are also close the the Cleddau Estuary (Pembrokeshires Secret Waterways) and the ancient woodlands at Canaston and Minwear. The beautiful sandy beaches and pretty towns, Tenby and Pembroke, of South Pembrokeshire can be reached in 15-20 minutes and the more rugged coastline of the North and West are 45 minutes away.
The cottage is well equipped with informative brochures and walking maps.
Then it’s great to come back to Little Loveston at the end of the day for some peace and quiet!
