Long Barn is a brightly decorated renovated stone cottage to sleep up to 4 people. There is an open plan living and dining area with comfortable seating, tv and woodburner, central heating and wifi throughout. Doors to both back and front gardens (with garden furniture, bbq, washing line etc) and a small utility room with household items and storage space.
On the ground floor is also a small well-equipped kitchen, bathroom (with bath, shower, basin & wc) and double bedroom. There is a twin mezzanine bedroom accessed from the living area. A separate lean-to adjoins the building with washing machine, freezer etc. The cottage is in a tranquil, pretty setting and is well away from the road and parking area.
The immediate surroundings have been designated a Site of Specific Scientific Interest because of its rich and varied plant and wildlife
The playfield is a great place for children to meet - away from the cottages and surrounded by fiaaelds with fort, swings, slide, caravan, sandpit... The games room is a converted barn with pool and table tennis, books and there is also a field with goalposts for football, There is also an old railway carriage with recycling facilities and a store of wood.
Apart from the wonderful coastal path, beaches, countryside, castle and other attractions of Pembrokeshire, we also have a wonderful outside playareas in the surrounding fields with fort, swings etc and a games room for rainy days.
We are on the edge of the National Park in the heart of Pembrokeshire. A great place from which to explore the counties beaches, attractions, waterways and countryside. It is also on the Landsker trail so there is good walking and cycling from the door. and we are also close the the Cleddau Estuary (Pembrokeshires Secret Waterways) and the ancient woodlands at Canaston and Minwear. The beautiful sandy beaches and pretty towns, Tenby and Pembroke, of South Pembrokeshire can be reached in 15-20 minutes and the more rugged coastline of the North and West are 45 minutes away.
The cottage is well equipped with informative brochures and walking maps.
Then it’s great to come back to Little Loveston at the end of the day for some peace and quiet!
Carry on A40 west from Carmarthen. Left onto A4075 for 7 km. 200m after Yerbeston Farmshop at crossroads we are on the left. If you are coming by train, we will be happy to meet you at the station and bring you to Little Loveston.
