Tiranui Cottage is a beautiful cottage in its own grounds looking out over Loch Leven, only metres from the waters edge. It has 4 bedrooms 2 doubles and 2 twins and sleeps 8 comfortably, but those parties of less than 8 looking for a bit more space it is ideal also. The cottage is bright, airy and has modern furnishings.
The living/dining room has a spectacular view of the Loch and Pap of Glencoe mountain. The dining area has a large table big enough to seat eight people. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle. The utility room has a separate freezer and washing machine. From Adrenaline pumping downhill mountain biking which can be experienced at the Anoch Mor ski centre just 7 miles from Fort William to a relaxing walk in the woods around Glencoe where there is an man made lake called the Lochan.
Here at Tiranui Cottage we are situated in a quite location four miles from the main A82, which is the North/South route up the Scottish West coast. Only 7 miles from Glencoe and all its fantastic scenery and walking.
We are only 6 miles from Kinlochleven, 40 miles from Oban which is a lovely little fishing port where you can enjoy shopping, eating, walking or even seal watching. Fort William the home of Ben Nevis is only 16 miles away with plenty of activities.
Approximate driving time from Glasgow is two hours and the journey takes you through some of Scotland's most stunning mountain scenery including the famous pass of Glencoe, scene of the famous Massacre of Glencoe in 1689.
When approaching from the South, take the A82 to Ballachulish, cross the Ballachulish bridge and then take the second turning on your right, signposted the B863 to Kinlochleven. We are four miles on the left hand side of the B863.
If approaching from the North, again take the A82 to North Ballachulish and turn left , signposted the B863 to Kinlochleven, before the bridge. We are four miles on the left along the B863.
