You can reach Tuscany, with your car or by train. Pisa is about 100 km far, Florence 175 km. Both this two cities can be reached with a day trip.
From Levanto you can easily reach the famous Cinque Terre Area. The best way to visit is by train, or in the summer by boat. Levanto has also a big number of path for hiking, biking and simply walking. At the left of the gulf you will find the old train tunnels that are converted in a plain path for walking, with little beaches and beautiful views over the sea. You can also visit the gulf of La Spezia with the beautiful Portovenere, Lerici and Tellaro.
you can decide to come in Levanto by plane, airport in Pisa and in Genova, and take a train from airport. In Levanto and for visiting Cinque Terre the car is not necessary but can be a problem for the parking. However we give to our guests a free parking ticket for parking near the house. If you decide to come by car, the motorway exit is Carrodano.
