Nestling on the private Glasfryn Estate on the Llyn Peninsular, Pantymoeliad has just been renovated to an exceptionally high standard. The spacious entrance hall is full of light and leads into the Living Room with squishy caramel leather sofas and high back comfortable armchairs. The original wooden fireplace is the centre of the stage and we do provide our own logs for the woodburning stove. The floors are of local slate and compliment the furnishings. And the views! Windows on all sides look out onto the gardens. The spacious kitchen/diner has slate floors, high pale wood ceilings and a huge oak refectory table with seating for 8 and, of course, lots of Portmeirion crockery. French windows lead onto the garden where clever seating areas have been built into the local stone. All the bedrooms share glorious views across the gardens towards Cardigan Bay. A majestic Chestnut Tree gives shade in the substantial garden with plenty of room for al fresco dining.
Pantymoeliad has an eco friendly heating system and has been constructed using local materials wherever possible. The glorious patio has seating areas cleverly built into the stone walls. We provide a basket of our own logs for the woodburning stove.
Glorious Snowdona is on your doorstep - you can either take the little train to the summit or walk up the mountain. Pantymoeliad was the home of the legendary architect - Clough Williams-Ellis - who built nearby Snowdonia. Castles galore in this area. Our own activity company (Glasfryn Parc) is only a few minutes away.
The Glasfryn Estate is midway between Criccieth and Pwllheli on the Llyn Peninsula and offers total seclusion. There are outstanding views towards Cardigan Bay. Surrounded by private woodlands (and even our own lake) this is the perfect location for lovers of nature. Take your pick from dozens of beaches. We also own nearby Glasfryn Parc - one of the UK's premier activity centres. Whether you are looking for a quite retreat or an action packed family holiday, Pantymoeliad won't disappoint.
