Villa Giulia is a lovely new Istrian villa built in the countryside according to the Istrian tradition, using stone and wood as the typical building materials. The villa is spacious with 160 square metres indoors and has a traditional Istrian terrace, mediterranean roof tiles, wooden shutters and plenty of space in the garden.
The ground floor is an open plan area with the kitchen/diner and a cosy sitting room. The floor is sand coloured tiles and the walls are of warm pale caramel colour or exposed stone. Real rustic elegance.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with an electric/gas oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and a coffee machine, with a full complement of new cooking utensils, plates, cutlery and glassware. The dining table can comfortably sit eight people.
The sitting area has a wonderful open fireplace, and is centrally heated for cooler months. It has two colourful sofas, satellite TV, a DVD player and wireless internet.
One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, with its own shower room, and all bed linen and towels provided.
From the sitting room, a wooden staircase leads to the upstairs floor where there are two en-suite bedrooms, each with their own balcony. They are air-conditioned and have great views over the countryside. A cot is available.
The 670 square metres garden is enclosed by a beautifully built stone wall. The garden is laid out to lawn and has Mediterranean shrubs and herbs. A large 9 x 4 metre swimming pool is surrounded by a sunbathing plateau complete with sunbeds and parasols.
The garden has a BBQ, and a lovely covered terrace stretches in front of the villa, with an outdoor table and chairs for al-fresco dining.
