Great choice!

| We are an extended family of six who have spent two weeks at Villa San Giovanni. Our general experience have been very positive. Although the landlords live in the same building, they are very discreet, while at the same time being helpful and hospitable. The apartments are tastefullly furnished, probably with the nicest bathroom we have ever seen in an apartment.. The balconies are worth the price alone - we spent mornings and evenings here. The kitchens lack proper cooking facilities, no oven or microwave, only with a tiny cooking stove, but nevertheless sufficed most of the time. The beds are of high quality. The pool is the best we have ever found, big and very clean. The property is in a beautiful park, with an alpakka farm at the end (!). Croaking frogs in a dam next to the house nearly drove us crazy during the night, but you get used to it. The village of Arcevia is lovely, even lovelier is the seatown of Senegallia, 40 minutes away. You do need a car - even walking into Arcevia takes too long, particularily at night when it is pitch dark. You also need a car for shopping that is 3 km away - and for eating out. Decent restaurants in Arcevia and within a 10 km radius. Suitable for couples and for families who are looking for the quiet, truly Italian life. |
