Guesthouse Havdal Skole is situated between Berkåk and Oppdal, at a beautiful spot between forest and a astonishing valley. The school has been rebuild to a beautiful pension and lies close to the Pilgrim Walk, a religious and touristic track which covers the distance between Oslo and Trondheim, where it ends at the Nidaros Cathedral.
Guesthouse Havdal Skole contains 6 rooms, each with 5 beds and an own shower and toilet.
The guesthouse is situated at the edge of the forrest, were you can see the moose, fox and deer.
At the back of the pension you can relax on the terrace and enjoy the quiet surrounding.
The children can play at the playground outside the guesthouse but also inside is a nice hall to amuse themself.
The surrounding area
In the forests behind the school lies Barnas Naturverden (Childrens Nature World), where, besides educative activities for children and grownups, there are beautiful hiking tracks.
Other nice walking tracks are close to the guesthouse.
Also you can make nice fishing trips into the fields or to the Orkla.
A trip to the norwegian fjords is also oneofthe possibilities.
In the winter the surroundings offer great possibilities to langlaufen. Near the Havdal Skole starts a langlauf track which leads through beautiful areas. In total there are 38 different tracks, varying in length from 500 meter to 8 km.
For downhill skiers are there also a lot of options. Near Oppdal there are 18 pistes, of which 3 especially for children.
