Built in the 16th century as a hunting lodge for the Princes de Clèves and extended in the 18th century, Le Relais was dragged into the 20th century by the local pharmacist some forty years ago. With a good eye for the original details she added modern comfort to the building.
In 2006 the 'new' Relais opened its doors to guests.
The Relais consists of a manor of approx. 420 m2, an out building of 150m2, servants quarters and a large garden/park (10.000 m2).

The Relais de Chasse is situated in between the historic cities of Nevers and Moulins and can be easily reached via the N7 motorway. Both cities offer a wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars and historic sites and are withing a 30 minute reach.
The Nièvre is home to extensive old forests, combined with sloping scenery, rivers and canals. In this area of 'pre-war' peace and quiet you will find many convents, cathedrals, abby's and castles.
The valley of the Allier is a paradise for nature-lovers.
