The surrounding area
The house is in our big garden in a quiet location.
Benneckenstein lies on a plateau and is therefore ideal starting point for small and great walks, driving cycle tours or in winter ski tours.
The place isn't overrun by the mass tourism yet and the hiker can therefore enjoy the blossoming mountain pastures and extensive sprucewood woods at leisure.
In the place there are sufficient purchase possibilities for the daily need but also restaurants into the one can make the most of the excellent cooking of the Harz.
