The Cottage is a small clean comfortable 2 bedroom house[2 double beds,1 single].It has a bathroom and toilet with an electric shower over the bath. The kitchen and living room are combined. The living room has an open peat [turf] fire, colour T. V., Radio and D.V.D.The kitchen has an electric cooker, kettle toaster, coffee maker and fridge. An ample supply of delph, saucepans and cutlery are supplied.The house also has a washing machine and clothes dryer. All bedlinen, bathroom towels and kitchen towels are supplied. All floors and ceilings in the bedrooms and living room are made of timber. As well as the open fire, the house is also centerally heated by oil. Included in the price is the oil, electricity and peat for the fire.
The surrounding area
The Erris area is one of Irelands most remote and beautiful areas far away from the main tourist track and surrounded by the Wild Atlantic Ocean. The house overlooks Broadhaven and Blacksod Bays and there are many sandy beaches nearby. It has an unique landscape in that half of the area is rough, rugged and peaty with high cliffs, the rest of it is flat and sandy.There are several marked walks, mostly circular, as well as the Tir Saile Trail and Ceide Fields. The house ideally positioned for touring Achill Island, Moy Area Ballina, Foxford Wollen Mills and Yeats County Sligo.It is just about 6km from Belmullet town which boasts 2 great hotels, both serving quality food and drink.There are several other restaurants including an award wining fish

You will stay in a village that has 6 houses but only 2 occupied.
