You will find our holiday flats at an altitude of 600 m above the east coast of Corsica at the edge of a typical Corsican mountain village offering a view of the Tuscan islands Monte Christo, Elba and Capraia. The holiday flats are on the first floor of our 500 years old house and offer space for 4 to 6 persons each (approx. 50 and 75 sq m). From there you enjoy a breathtaking view of both the coastline and the Corsican mountains. On clear days you can even see the Italian coast on the horizon. The surrounding area
The historic area of the Castaniccia, which is famous for its great amount of chestnut trees, offers its visitors unlimited possibilities of walking up to a height of about 1800 m. The coastal area with thousands of metres of sandy beaches, a great variety of opportunities for shopping and splendid touristy infrastructure can be reached within 15 minutes by car.
Just in front of the house is the beginning of the botanic trail which informs about a great variety of Corsican plants within 1.5 hrs and passes historic monuments as well as some of the most beautiful places of the Costa Verde. In the village you can buy traditionally produced Corsican cheese from the shepherd, do guided horse riding tours or try your canyoning skills.
Activities
Because of the short distance to the tourist centres of the east coast with their excellent infrastructure and the manifold offers for water sports and other leisure activities we can promise ramblers and mountaineers as well as beach tourists an enjoyable holiday.

Special characteristics
Our holiday flats are just about 9 km from the main corsican road, that runs from north to south. They are situated between the mountains and the seashore. There are excellent possibilities for walking trips, many of which begin at our front door.

Our flats are in short distance from the international airport Bastia-Poretta or from the ferry terminal Bastia (see table aside). Please note that it is essential to have your own car or a hire car. You find a lot of car rental firms at the airport.
