Les Remparts is located in the centre of Bize Minervois, built against the remains of the medieval fortifications of the village. Step into the entrance hall on the ground floor, where you have access to the bathroom and a separate WC. On the first floor is the bright living room, which is divided into two areas: the kitchen with eating area, from where you have access to a small balcony (perfect for breakfast for 2) and the sitting area with sofa and chairs. On the second floor are two bedrooms, one with twin the other with two double beds and the terrace, with views of the village. A WC on this floor is accessible from both bedrooms.

Bize Minervois is a lively wine making village, typical for the region. There are several restaurants, a bar/cafe, grocery store, bakery, pharmacy and doctor's surgery as well as a weekly market. Wine can be bought and tasted at a number of indepdent wineries as well as the cooperative winery in the village. Very close to Bize is the Cooperative of Olive growers "L'Oulibo", which produces delicious table olives and great olive oil. At the start of the summer each year the river in the centre of the village is dammed up, creating a public swimming pool (with life guard). There are a lot of other things to do and see in the area, but you can of course just sit back and relax!
