By the way: You don't have to enjoy our gorgeous garden only by looking from the loggia. Feel free to relax there, take a sunbath, have a barbeque and so on...

You can choose from so many of marked hiking trails. One of the highlights is the European Long Distance Trail E 1, which extends from the North Sea to Lake Constance and down to the Mediteranean Sea. This trail crosses Altenbeken following the crest of the Egge Mountains.
