The newest of our three gites, Stable Cottage will comfortably accommodate 6/7 people. On the ground floor are the entrance hall, large living/dining room, separate kitchen, a bedroom with double bed and its own bathroom (bath, separate shower, bidet, toilet). Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds (an additional single can easily be added), and a shower room with toilet. All rooms are equipped with modern electric heaters, and in addition the lounge has a log-burning stove. The cottage has an automatic washing machine and TV (4 English channels as well as 5 French). The private garden has a paved patio with garden furniture.

The surrounding area
We are situated in the heart of beautiful, peaceful countryside, about 45 mins from Cherbourg on the west coast of the Cotentin peninsula. We have three self-catering cottages (Gîtes) - Stable Cottage, Chèvrefeuille and Jasmin, all of which are described later. Our farm is a veritable haven of peace and tranquillity where children can play in safety. We are only 6km from beautiful sandy beaches, and ideally placed for visiting Mont St Michel, Bayeux, and the Landing Beaches. The attractive market town of La Haye du Puits, 8km away, has all the shops you need, including two supermarkets. If you are a fan of French street markets there is one available every day within easy driving distance.

Other sporting and leisure activities available nearby include; tennis; golf; horse riding; canoeing; windsurfing; sailing; carting and ice-skating.
