The surrounding area
Moraira is surrounded by a wonderful Mediterranean vegetation. By walking through its narrow alleys, you still feel the charming maritime atmosphere of former times. There are restaurants for each taste, a nice marina and lots of shopping facilities. It has also got a fantastic hinterland with mountains and typical Spanish villages. You can make excursions to Benidorm with its impressive skyscrapers and its even more impressive girls dancing in the Lido, the theme park Terra Mitica, or, more sophisticated, Altea with its white houses in typical Spanish stile. Moraira has nice beaches, I think you will especially like the small sandy beach of El Portet! Moraira is a wonderful place for people who don't need skyscrapers to feel happy!
