The tidal sandy bay "Keadue Strand" lies just a few steps outside the door. When the tide is low you can walk on the sandy banks to Cruit Island. Turning to the northwest you'll reach the shores of the atlantic where are excellent fishingplaces amongst the granite-rocks. From there you can enjoy impressive sunsets with good views to Arranmore Island. - This place is ideal for families who can let play their kids on the beaches, having them under supervision at all times. - What about "kiting"? - This is the place for it!

Fly into Dublin and take connection flight to Donegal Airport (Kincasslagh - 8km from cottage), or by hired car from Dublin (apx 4,5 - 6hrs) depending on weather- and traffic-conditions.
