Haus Martha“ is a spacious house with two big flats and extra place for private guests. The various fruit trees offer a rich harvest during late summer time respectively autumn. There are herbs especially for guests and everybody´s taste.

Frauenau is situated in the centre of the “Bavarian Forest” close to the mountain “Großer Arber”. With its 1456 m altitude the “Großer Arber” does not belong to the Alps but it is also not a hill.

Frauenau is a centre for downhill and cross-country skiing. Many national and international cycle tracks pass Frauenau. There is a 6 km almost flat cycle track from Frauenau to Zwiesel for friends of skating. Water rats can use the heated open air swimming pool in Frauenau and the indoor swimming pool in Zwiesel.
