The house is situated on the fine sands of the tropical beach Praia do Flamengo, the most beautiful beach of Salvador.
The apartments are completely furnished. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchen and a generously appointed living room with TV, etc. The bedrooms have air conditioning and fans.
The facilities include a swimming pool with lounge chairs.
Rent includes water, gas, electricity, air conditioning, sheets, and towels.

The surrounding area
Our house is situated in a park at the end of the street just 100 meters from the sea on the fine sands of the tropical beach of Praia do Flamengo.
You can see and of course hear the sea from the balcony.
The international airport in Salvador da Bahia is just a 20 minute drive from Villa Cactus. You can reach the city center and old city of Pelourinho in just 45 minutes by bus. Busses leave for the city every 30 minutes.

Our biologist, a Brazilian who speaks no German, but very good English, can accompany you on nature excursions and out to islands on the open sea.

Travel information
Currently, the cheapest flights are with TAP Portugal from Frankfurt to Salvador via Lisbon. The 10-hour flight costs about € 780 including all fees. As of November 1, 2005, Condor will be flying to Salvador from Frankfurt every Thursday.
