Our vacation home is located on the upper floor of a large two-family house. The size of the apartment is about 65 m2, and consists of a large living room, a bedroom, a large and fully eqipped kitchen, and a bathroom with shower.
The apartment offers enough room for 2-4 guests. In the bedroom there is a double bed (1,80 m x 2,00 m), and a another sleeping accomodation is available in the living room, where you will find a large studio couch (1,50 m x 2,00 m).

The surrounding area
Olef is situated in the Eifel, a rural part of Germany located close to the Belgian border. Our house is just a few miles away from the newly founded National Park 'Eifel'.
Trailheads for numerous hikes are just a few minutes away, and it's only a few kilometers to the National Park and the 'Rursee' (a large lake). Other worthwile destinations such as the 'Hohe Venn' (a hill moor), the game reserve in Hellenthal, or beautiful villages such as Monschau or Bad Münstereifel can be reached within 30 minutes driving. In the winter, you can enjoy hikes or strolls through the snow-laden forest surrounding Olef, and even sledding and skiing (both downhill and cross-country) are possible in the area.
