"Rosa right" is located in a building about 150 years old in Barcelonas Old Town, the Barrio Gotico. The apartment has been renovated during the sommer of 2004 (the rest of the building hasn't yet) and is furnished very comfortabely, practically and cosy.
An airconditioning and central heating provide a comfortable temperature all year round. The kitchen is fully equipped, therefor Rosa 1 is perfect for both short and longter stays.
With a surface of 55m2 there is enough room for up to 4 guest, and for bigger groups up to 8 people you could rent the next door apartment, "Rosa left" which is just as beautiful and can be combined by opening two doors in the hallway.
Both apartments are situated on the second floor without elevator.
The surrounding area
The building of the Rosa-apartment is located in a small street between Calle Avinyo and Calle Escudellers. Most cultural highlights are easily reachable on foot, as well as Las Ramblas (4 min), the Port/Sailboot harbour (3 min), the beach (10 min), the Zoo and many other attractions. Also public transport as the metro and busstops aren't far away.
The infrastructure around the apartment is good. Apart from that there is a big selection of nice restaurants and terrace-cafes. Also the famous and very well priced "Los Caracoles" restaurant is just around the corner.
Rosa street isn't one of those pretty streets typical for the Old Town but the beautiful apartment easily makes up for that. An oasis at the end of a long day!

Museums, beach, Gaudi's arquitecture, Football stadium Camp Nou, Tibidabo fairground, Aquarium, Zoo, Universal Mediterranea in Salou (by train), strolling through the city, fantastic Tapas with spanish wine, great shopping all over the center
