The village Peristera is 30 kilometers (South) far away from Akrata, which is in a 30 km (East) distance to Egion/Selianitika

In summer from Peristera until the peak of Helmos until second biggest observatory of Europe so called „Aristarchos“. First 6 km asphalt road, 6 km road without asphalt.
