Our holiday flat (80qm) is situated in an old villa on the edge of Philippsthal opposite the historical small town of Vacha. Children are very welcome and pets are also allowed by prior arrangement. 3 rooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom offer enough space for a few pleasant days’ holiday, also with a larger group of people.

Philippsthal is in a central location between the Bad Hersfeld with its theatre festival and Eisenach, famous for the Wartburg. There is a well developed cycling and hiking path along the river Werra. Some of the leisure activities offered by Philippsthal are a swimming pool, indoor tennis and riding, the lock museum and more. In Vacha you can admire the lovely old houses on the historic marketplace and the many puppets in the puppet museum in Wendelstein castle. From this summer, you can hire canoes directly from us.
