As a guest at our holiday apartments you have a wonderful view of the beautiful landscape of the "land of 1000 ponds".
Our modern facilities include 2 double bedrooms, livingroom, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a balcony to the inner court.
On our farm we have our own deer park with fallow deer and Cameroon sheep. It's perfect for families with little children.
For breakfast we offer honey from our own beekeeping and other famous regional products, e.g. the famous sausage of Thuringia.
Bicycles are for rent.
The surrounding area
The Finkenmuehle ("finch mill") with our country vacation house "Huebelhaus" is located near Schleiz, west from the highway A9 (Berlin-Munich).
You will find a freshwater nature reserve with several different animal species and plant species. Wonderful lakes invite you to swim or row. Right in the heart of the beautiful landscape is our farm, the "Huebelhaus" with our comfortable holiday apartments. Our house is located in a calm place, away from the trouble of traffic and big cities.
A suitable place for walking or riding the bike. Enjoy marvelous air and wonderful sunsets in the "Finkenmuehle".
If you would like to take a an excursion we can recommend lots of places of interest, e.g. a boat trip on the river Saale.
Activities
There are many interesting places within 80 km surrounding, e.g. the dragon cave near Plauen, the "Fairy grotto" in Saalfeld (stalactite cave), the Zeiss planetarium in Jena, the city of Weimar, or different dams of river Saale. You will be able to enjoy the specialties of the famous Thuringian cuisine in the surrounding villages.
