After the renovation the typical character of the apartment remained (original wooden stairs) and is assosiated with a rustic new fireplace, as well as a modern kitchen.

The surrounding area
Marta:
A picturesque fisherman village witrh about 3000 inhabitants, witch is located at the south of the lake, where the river marta starts. The historical center consists of buildings of the Middle Ages and still lives in symbosium with the lake. That's why it still keeps the charme of an ancient fisherman village: narrow lanes, little places with laterns, the church Santa Maria, the ruins of the castle built in the 13th century and the street called "Via dei pescatori", which runs along the shore within fishing boats and nets. From there you can walk up a little lane (50m) into the historical center and reach our appartment, which is located at the upper part of the ancient chapel "San Angelo".
