The place is surrounded by the nature reserve La Clape with forests and vineyards and a lot of hiking paths. Excursions are possible to the old fishing village of Gruissan, the new yachting harbour, the former Roman town of Narbonne, the monastery Fontfroide, the medical fort of Carcasson, a Safari Parc, the Canal du Midi, forts of the Cathars ect. For children there is a gocart place, an aqua parc, horse riding possibilities, a fair ect.
