This is a great place to stay for everyone who likes to be in the countryside and at the same time near Amsterdam. There is a little beach, over the dike where you can sunbath or swim in the lake in the summer. You can take a basket over the dike and have breakfast or a picknick there. We offer a lot of extra’s, all included in the rental, such as a laundry room, a sauna, an outdoor spa and free fast (also wireless) internet access and bikes.

IJsselmeer dike very near Edam, an old "cheese’ town.
Activities
This is a very beautiful place for a honeymoon, a wedding anniversary, for writing, for reading a good book (books available too in different languages!), but if you like to be more active: there are lots of opportunities to explore the countryside by foot, bicycle or by car. You can go to the Noth Sea, the bulbfields etc. It is a great place for bird watching and if you like horses you can watch the neighbour training his horses at sunset.

Travel information
From Amsterdam it is 25 km by car. There is a bus to Edam. The apartments are 5 km from the busstation in Edam. There is no public transportation, but we offer two bikes for the guests.
