The surrounding area
Faerie Melusine's calm refuge, distant of any hectic tourist resort, is surrounded by farmland and pasture (bocage). In the neighbourhood there are 12,500 acres of forest embedded in four reservoirs (two with small beaches).
Bathing trips to the ocean, exploring of the Venise Verte with its channels and La Rochelle and Le Puy de Fou are "musts" for our guests.
Countless dogwalks immediately from the property and visiting of enchanted little hamlets in the surroundings (i.e. Vouvant, a fortified village) give a sense of the enchanted fairy's spirit in the Vendée.
