All year around Goerlitz has an interesting cultural live and a large number of facilities for sport and recreation. The possibliity to explore the beautiful surroundings of the "Oberlausitz" either rumbling or using a bicycle, following the "Oder - Neisse" cycle path. Goerlitz is just one hour drive away from the centre of Saxony, Dresden and Meissen. The landscape, rich on forests and lakes is surrounded by four medium mountain ranges in three different countries.
