Our Finca is on the edge of the village of Genoves, nearby Icod de los Vinos almost directly about Garachico. The village ambiance offers a quiet life: Wine primarily is grown, added in the fields’ potatoes and corn. An old water pipe on which one can go goes 50 meters over the Finca on quiet evening walks by the twilight.
The Finca consists of a main house and a summer house. Both houses have entirely been renovated newly and the outside area redesigned in two-year work. A little way leads to the threshing place around which cactuses and endemic ways of plant grow. The property altogether is 1200 m ² large. A longer entry behind the house offers parking spaces for several cars.
The main house (approx. 90 m ²) consists of two bedrooms (respectively 20 m ²), a kitchen, a bathroom and a big living room (30 m ²) with television set (Sat programs). Of all rooms from including bed and bathroom you have sea view. All rooms have wood blankets, kitchen and bath floor tile, all other rooms’ wooden floors. There also is a mobile gas-fired boiler next to electrical hotplates on the wall. One reaches the terrace from living- and bedroom like from the bath with a view of the sea. It can be had breakfast well or enjoy the setting sun here.
There is a protected cookie next to the house for sunbathing with deck chairs and parasols.
The summer house (approx. 32 m ²) consists of a room (24 m ²), bath and kitchen. The room with the beds, desk and armchair is renovated lovingly with occasional volcano stones on the walls and wood hallways. One reaches a reconsidered patio from room and bath a modest kitchen (2 electric plates, sink unit, refrigerator) borders on.
The romantic patio is framed by an old orange tree and a water-tank. There the flowing of the water makes the summer heat for one as of January more tolerable here grow for the oranges to the mouth. And who is lucky can watch the frogs in the twilight (as of April). A big terrace invites to staying on the roof of the summer house with a marvellous look.
And who puts himself on the deck chair on the threshing place looks up over the green fields up to the Teide.
The surrounding area
Our finca is 500 meters over the sea with a fantastic look over the northern coast to to Punta Del Hidalgo in the green northwest of Tenerife.
One in bulk achieves Vinos, the next town, for Icod de with the car or bus within 10 minutes. There are supermarkets and a shopping street offers good purchase possibilities. Center of attraction of the town is one allegedly for 1000 years of old Drago (hang-glider tree).
One also reaches the playa San Marcos, the nearest bathing beach, within 10 minutes by car of our Finca. One can watch the activities of the fishermen in their work from one of the beach bars.
In a scarce half hour one reaches the playa Jardin and the old port of Puerto de for Cruz Laly. Puerto is the largest and central town at the northern coast. Here one can go along directly the sea on the mole for some time and stands shortly after this in the middle of the pedestrian precinct with its cafés.
If, sometime, the weather shouldn't be so good, one reaches Gigantes and Puerto de Santiago in the southwest within 45 minutes of Lo. It is warm there over almost the whole year and arena with the fine black sand is bathed at the playa de over the whole year.

Who prefers to go along the sea, finds 1/2 hours in Lo's silos, 20 minutes of our finca removed, the possibility, 1, to run directly by the sea and the rock coast there? A seawater swimming pool is found with 50 meter train also there.
The Montañeta, however, lies in a very next proximity with its numerous walks. Within 5 minutes by car one reaches San Francisco with his clear mountain water source where the first walks start.
