Luxury chalet built in Savoyard style at an altitude of 1600 metres and only 100-150 metres from the skilift/piste and the village centre. It can accommodate 4 to 6 persons. There is an open plan living area on the first floor with lounge, dining and kitchen area. The lounge has two comfortable sofas of which one easily converts into a bed for 2. There is an open logfire, TV and stereo/CD-player. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and the dining area has a large table comfortably seating 6. This floor has a toilet in the entrance area.
There are two bedrooms downstairs. One has an ensuite bathroom with shower, washbasin. A separate big bathroom has a bath, washbasin and toilet.
The living area has an exit to the balcony from where you have breathtaking views over the valley and on the Beaufortain and Mont Blanc mountains.
The surrounding area
Vallandry is part of the Les Arcs ski area with more than 200 km of pistes (1600-3220m). From Christmas 2003 there will be a brandnew lift connection with La Plagne, which means that the ski area will be more than doubled. Vallandry is right in the middle!
The Nordic site nearby at Peisey-Nancroix, has more than 40km of cross country trails.
Vallandry is at the gateway to the ‘Parc National de la Vanoise’.
In summer, it is an ideal place for naturelovers and for those who like mountain sports like paragliding, climbing, tracking, rafting etc. Summerskiing is possible in Tignes. In Les Arcs1800 there is a big swimming pool and an 18-hole golfcourse.
