The island’s capital Ponta Delgada is about 28 km away. You can reach the capital as well as other destinations by means of regular bus services. A bus-stop is quite close to your holiday home. Apart from Shank’s pony you have taxis at your disposal. Mosteiros is one of the prettiest places on São Miguel. It is situated in the western part of the island. You can find several small supermarkets and some recommendable restaurants. All over the island you meet friendly natives who willingly help to make your holiday perfect.
