The cottages are situated in a peaceful, secluded setting with wonderful views yet just 5km from Kelso with its splendid square, abbey ruins and a wide variety of shops and places to eat.
Within 40 minutes drive of Edinburgh, east-coast fishing villages, superb coastal scenery, Borders towns, Northumberland, and the Cheviot & Ettrick Hills.
Ideally situated for visiting a wealth of abbeys, gardens and stately homes, (Floors Castle and Mellerstain House both nearby).
Explore on foot, cycle, horseback or car, visit local craftworkers and artists, go fishing, mountain biking, play golf or simply relax and watch the wildlife. There is so much to do - you will be planning your return visit as you leave!

You are welcome to walk in our 12 ha. of fields and there are longer walks directly from Burnbrae.
Textile Art workshops are held in our studio at Burnbrae with world renowned visiting tutors. Look at the Workshop programme page on our website for details.
Each kitchen is well equipped with an electric 4 ring hob and a combination microwave/grill/convection oven.
All crockery (matching white china) and kitchen equipment is checked each week to ensure everything is clean and ready for your use.
Each living room has a wood burning stove with large windows to enjoy viewing the fire in safety. Fuel for the fire is supplied.
