The surrounding area
This is really a very pleasant apartment. It is very well equipped and by its proximity to the beach and it´s excellent connection with the old town it is a comfortable base for exploring Barcelona:
At less than a 10 minutes walk you find the sandy beach of Nova Icaria Barcelona, located next to the Olympic harbour and the characteristic "Twin Towers" of Barcelona.
The historic city centre of Barcelona is also within walking distance. It is only a 5 minutes walk to reach the very pleasant ´Parc de la Ciutadella´ that you will pass on your way to the hip district 'El Born', part of the old city.
The subway station that gives access to the yellow line and that takes you in only three stops directly to the centre of Barcelona, lies at 250 meters from the vacation apartment.
