Beautiful Lyme Bay, Golden Cap and Charmouth, famous for its fossils.
Walking:- superb both inland and coastal.
Sightseeing:- pretty villages of Abbotsbury, Milton Abbas, Cerne Abbas
Dramatic Corfe Castle, Brownsea Island and many National Trust properties.
Museums. County & Dinosaur, Dorchester. The Tank Museum at Bovington, and Fleet Air Arm at Yeovilton.
Historic towns of Wareham, Sherborne and Shaftesbury are well worth a visit.
