“De Nieuwe Tijd” is a century built farmhouse in the centre of the polder Wieringermeer. The image is strongly determined by agricultural activities: in spring many flower fields, in summer cereals, beets, potatoes, carrots and onions. The location is very well suited for a stay of several days and as a homebase for your trips by car.
In the farm house are 6 bedrooms, ensuite ( private shower, toilet and wash-basin) and central heating, with a view of a beautiful garden. There are also a breakfast room, a communal log-cabin with television, minibar and bordgames.
The farmhouse is surrounded by a large garden ( 1 ha) with a pond, various paths and terraces where you can relax amongst the chicken and ducks. There is a playground for the children and occasionally they can ride the ponies.
There are stables for horses and ponies who are trained in the evening.

Itinerary.
You can arrive from 2 directions to “De Nieuwe Tijd”
A) You follow the A7 in southern direction and turn off exit Wieringerwerf (13 ) and go then to the right and after 150 mtrs you go left in the direction of Middenmeer. At the roundabout you go straight on and after that you take the first road ( Dolfijnweg) on your right. You have reached your destination when you arrive at the first farmhouse on the left.
B) You follow the A7 in northern direction and take the exit to Middenmeer.(12 ) At the roundabout you go right through the village and at the 2nd roundabout you go right again. After that you take the 2nd road ( Dolfijnweg) on your left and you have reached your destination when you arrive at the first farmhouse on the left.
