The house itself is surrounded by large mature lawns and is entered via a 1km private driveway. It is centrally located for enjoying the beautiful scenery of County Clare and the surrounding counties. The Burren region starts less than 10km from the cottage and the Cliffs of Moher are approximately 48km.
There are numerous small course fishing lakes near Ashgrove Cottage and we also can provide a boat for hire. Pike and trout are the most common fish.
