This two bedroomed cottage built around 1686 is well equipped and tastefully modernised.
There is a large kitchen/dining room with auto. washing machine, tumble dryer, electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge and icebox.
The cosy wooden beamed lounge has an open fire and colour TV, video and modern music centre.
On the first floor are two bedrooms - one double and one with full size bunks which can be used as two singles. We have a full size temporary bed to allow the cottage to accommodate 5 if needed.
A fully equipped bathroom with shower over the bath is on the first floor.
The cottage has oil-fired central heating included but electricity is metered and pound coins are needed. The first bag of coal for the fire is included and we can supply extra on request.

There is ample off road parking and there are lawned gardens with a children's play area and sand pit. At the back of the cottage the private garden has a patio, barbecue and garden furniture and overlooks open fields.
The cottage is convenient for Buxton, Ashbourne, Bakewell and Matlock and is ideal for visits to Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, The Peak Village at Rowsley etc. and of course all the wonderful scenery of the Peak Park.
