The house amid of a large park compound (20.000 m²) with a small forest and a large area of meadows, is situated above the shores of the Aulne. Over the property, along the river the old towpath from Nantes to Brest invites to ample promenades or broad bicycle tours.
On the ground floor is a large, cosy furnished living-dining room in Brittany style with a great chimney which is as high as the room. A well equipped kitchenette made of massive wood, naturally with all devices. An open stair leads to the first floor. Firstly you get to an open mezzanine which is used as a lounge and study and furnished as a 2nd living room. The bedrooms have a French double bed of 140 x 200 and a sofa bed of the same size. An additional cot is available.

The small venue Chateauneuf du Faou about 1 km apart is a pretty, quiet country city. There you find just everything for your everyday needs. Despite the agrarian location at the edge between the „Schwarze Berge“ and the Parc d’Amorique a lot of sights and the most beautiful beaches are easy to get. The capital of the Finistère, the picturesque Quimper, is only half an hour apart by car. Nearer are the historical cities Chateaulin, Locronan or Le Faou. The wide sandy and dune beaches of the gulf of Douarnenez are also only half an hour apart. The Parc d’Amorique of the Brittany located proximate in the west of the cottage is of value of an excursion.
