Vecchio Fienile, an old barn, is an independent renovated apartment, very close to the centre of Rezzonico.
A beautiful lake view can be enjoyed by the house’s private solarium, fully furnished with deckchairs and tables. 13 stairs down will bring you into a smaller furnished terrace. On this level, you’ll find also a living room with open kitchen and most of all, the same breathtaking view of the lake.
Another 13 stairs down from the kitchen level will get you into the bedroom section, the most quiet part of the house where there is a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a bathroom. In the single bedroom a few stairs open up into a secluded loft with one bedroom of a single bed.

The surrounding area
Rezzonico is one of the most charming villages on Lake Como, situated on the sunny western shore of the lake near Menaggio ( 7 km) and Como ( 35 km). Along its shores you find secluded beaches and picturesque spots.
You can go for long walks along the “Antica Regina” road which goes through woods and hamlets all up to the lake. And if you love mountains and trekking, you can reach the high peaks above San Siro where you can enjoy spectacular views. The famous ski resort St. Moritz is within an easy reach (96 km) and the nearest international airport is Malpensa (90 km).
The village is very quiet, has few restaurants, small supermarket, bank, pharmacy. For extensive shopping and night life Menaggio is nearby.
Activities
Every season is worth a visit. Go for long walks along the “Antica Regina” road through woods and hamlets up to the high peaks above S. Siro with spectacular views of the lake.
In summer practise golf, swimming, surfing, sailing, trekking. In winter the skiing slopes at St Moritz, S. Bernardino, Madesimo, Gotthard are at easy reach.
Every season is worth a visit, because the climate is mild. In July the temperature reaches 25-30 degrees, but there is always a lovely breeze, la Breva, a must for surfers and sailing boats.

Lake Como always attracted visitors, including statesmen, artists and writers, and its openness to “VIP” has recently been confirmed by the presence of George Clooney, Versace, Madonna who have decided to make this area their own private paradise.
