Waren, District Town of the Müritz District is located an the most northerly part of the Müritz, the Inlandmüritz, stretching over 115 sq km and being the largest lake located fully in Germany.
Waren gives home for about 22 000 citizens and offers a great variety of places to go, restaurants and all different kinds of recreational activities.
There are quite a few places where one can rent bikes to explore the areas and in particular the Müritz National Park.
If you are going to charter a boat, be it sail or motor, small or large, you will be offered boats to take for hours, days or weeks. The apartment is close to the next charter agent at Waren Harbour.
