Fahrdorf is situated near to the historical Viking-Village of "Haithabu" (approx. 1 km) and about 5 km from the town of Schleswig: Gottorf Castle with it's famous Barock gardens and Globus-house, Schleswig-Cathedral and the historical Fishervillage "Holm".
A 9-Hole-Golf course is in easy reaching distance (approx. 3 km). Both the Baltic and the Northsee, as well as Denmark, can be reached within less than one hour's drive.
Fahrdorf provides all necessary facilities (Doctor, Dentist, Chemist, Post-Office, Bank, Supermarkets, Bakers etc.)

Should the vacation appartment be occupied by 3 Persons (only in exceptional cases) we charge an extra fee of 10.00 EUR per Night. In this case we provide a camping bed. The third person should be a child.

Motorway Hamburg-Flensburg A7. Shortly before reaching Schleswig leave the Motorway at "Jagel" and follow the B77 in the direction of Schleswig, then turn right following the B76, direction Kiel. After approx. 3 km leave the B 76 to the left (village of Fahrdorf). After 1 km turn left "Strandholm".
